TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
